Nokia E7 Smartphone will be released at the end of 2010

Nokia E7After HTC event hosted at London, this month, now is Nokia time to host their annual Nokia World event. During Nokia World 2010 we were able to see some of the phones that are scheduled to be released next months as well as Symbian^3 OS.

Today we will talk about Nokia E7, a device that the Finnish mobile producer it’s going to release it soon, this year. It will target Business Smartphone market and is expected to have a high price.

From the beginning, we can observe that E7 borrowed with success some design elements from N8 smartphone that will be available soon.

The AMOLED screen, bigger than the one from N8, has 4-inches and supports 640 x 360 pixel resolution. It supports multi-touch and features bunch of usual sensors: proximity, accelerometer, compass, ambient light detector and also a secondary VGA video call camera (640 x 480 pixels). Sliding the phone to the right side will unveil a full QWERTY keyboard that is finally well designed and with rubber buttons as everybody demanded.

The 8 megapixel camera is located on the back and has dual LED flash, 2x-3x digital zoom and fixed focus. It can record HD movies at 720p resolution and play them through HDMI. Applications for Photo editor and Video Editor are supported.

Nokia E7 Camera

Announced as a big improvement, Symbian ^3 OS comes pre installed on E7 phone. Different from iOS, it support Flash and comes with preloaded applications: Vlingo, F-Secure Anti-theft for Mobile, Mail for Exchange, IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, Quickoffice, Adobe PDF reader and Ovi Maps(free navigation). If you intend to have even more apps, you should go to Ovi Store and choose the ones that suits you the best. The processor, An ARM 11 680 MHz comes with  OpenGL 2.0 to enables 3D graphics over Games and other apps(maybe). Internal memory has 256 Mb RAM and 1024 Mb ROM one.

Nokia E7 connectivity features are the same from N8 phone: GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB, HDMI port and 3.5 mm jack. GPS is available through A-Gps support and you can try it through Nokia Ovi app which now supports free navigation.

In the end it seams Nokia E7 is a well made phone with quality features, but targeting the Business market will raise his price and make it a hard choice for regular users. It is expected to be released at the end of this year with a price that has not been revealed yet.
